An File Bar and Restaurant in County Mayo, serves delicious food and drinks in the heart of Westport's entertainment district. Westport is one of Ireland’s most beloved heritage towns, with its traditional shopfronts, tree lined streets and beautiful stone bridges over the Carrowbeg River.

An File, meaning The Poet, is named after Mayo’s famed blind poet Antoine Ó Raifteirí. This bar and restaurant is located in The Octagon in the heart of Westport Town in County Mayo. It is a traditional Irish pub with a modern twist.

It focuses on using local suppliers, fresh and seasonal ingredients and serves a range of drinks seven days a week. An File is renowned for hosting live sporting events and traditional music gigs during the summer months. The venue is equipped with plasma tv screens and provides a great atmosphere for all sporting occasions.

Choose from a great variety of light bites, sandwich selection, tempting main courses, juicy steaks and burgers. Menus feature a range of pasta dishes, traditional favourites, and a selection of seafood dishes showcasing the fresh catch from Killary Harbour.

An File takes pride in providing live music, flavoursome food and tasty drinks, all designed to ensure that your dining experience and visit to An File is one that you will remember for a very long time. The aim of staff at An File is to provide a welcoming, professional and friendly service to locals and visitors to the town.
