Step back in time and discover the origins of Halloween at our Samhain-themed children’s event! Over 2,000 years ago in Ireland, Samhain marked the night when the spirit world was closest to ours. Families lit bonfires, carved faces into turnips, told fortunes, and disguised themselves to ward off fairies and spirits. At this hands-on event, children will explore these ancient traditions through stories, costumes, and games, then enjoy apple bobbing, fortune-telling, tasty Halloween treats, garden games, and a goodie bag to take home.
