Music, culture and language school sponsored mainly by Údaras na Gaeltachta and An Comhairle Ealaíon, and is held at Coláiste Mhuire, Tourmakeady.

Ceol na Locha is a music, culture and language school sponsored mainly by Údaras na Gaeltachta and An Comhairle Ealaíon, and is held at Coláiste Mhuire, Tourmakeady. Now in its 8th year, the school provides training at beginners and intermediate level in the following subjects: button accordion, tin whistle, fiddle, banjo and mandolin, flute, bodhrán, concertina, guitar, "sean nós " dancing, art, conversational Irish and recently introducing in the school, "caoladóireacht", basket weaving with the infamous Joe Hogan. Most of the teachers are back year after year, but this year brings a few fresh faces with the aforementioned Joe Hogan and the renown flute player, Rev. Gary Hastings.

All teaching is through the medium of Irish. A special welcome to beginners. Open to all ages from 9 years - no upper limit.
