The Glen Keen Farm is unique in Ireland, due to its size, location and natural beauty. Glen Keen will be the largest farm in Irelands agri-tourism offering, being over 1,200 acres in size, this single family owned farm with a commonage footprint that extends to over 5,500 acres is larger than some national parks. Glen Keen is located 6.2 miles from Louisburgh on the Leenane road R335, Mayo’s front door to the Delphi Valley, Killary Harbour and the gateway to the Connemara region. The farm is stunning with waterfalls and breath taking valleys of the Carrowniskey River, which forges, through the centre of the property and bound by the Sheeffry and Mweelrea mountain ranges on the south side of the property, serving as pillars to the Delphi Valley.

“The Living Classroom” (1) Earth science, agricultural, culinary, writing and arts/crafts classes that will run both on line and on site for school children, locals and visitors alike.
Individuals and groups seeking sporty participation can avail in a variety of options; a choice of guided famine walks, herdsman walk or test their skill at footing the turf or learn sheep dog handling to herd sheep.
The Glen Keen farm stand is designed as a sustainable development program that is intended to serve as a small business incubator for the community. The aesthetic value of the Glen Keen farm stand incorporates a design to represent an old farmhouse with an attached barn and glass house supporting the traditional rustic look and feel for the future branding of our products.
