The Helm Bar and Restaurant in County Mayo, is a family owned and managed business located on Ireland's western seaboard.

The Helm Bar and Restaurant is located in the heart of Westport Quay, in County Mayo. The Helm is adjacent to Westport House and overlooks the stunning Westport Harbour. It is a seafood restaurant which uses local suppliers and has the bar has live entertainment.

All of the fish served at The Helm Bar and Restaurant is caught and bought locally from fishermen spanning from as far south as Rossaveal, County Galway to as far North as Ballina in North County Mayo. Some of the more popular dishes on the menu include, The Helm seafood chowder, the chili and lime crusted baked hake or The Helm crab and salmon fishcakes. There is also an extensive wine menu available to accompany your main dish of choice. At the Helm Bar, there is a variety of craft beers, gins, whiskeys and spirits.

The Helm Bar typically opens from 15:00 each day, while the à la carte Helm Restaurant opens from 17:00 every day, until final dinner serving at 21:00.
