Tara Open Studio, in County Meath, is the home and art studio of sacred artist Courtney Davis. Courtney has created 53 published books since 1980 and exhibited his work in many countries around the world. His art is an expression of the ancient Celtic symbols, myths and legends.

Courtney Davis works and exhibits his art at Tara Open Studio which is based on the historic Hill of Tara in County Meath. Tara, known as Temair in Gaeilge, was the ancient seat of power, 142 kings are said to have reigned there in prehistoric and historic times. In ancient Irish religion and mythology, Temair was the sacred place of dwelling for the gods and was the entrance to the other world.

The gallery displays original artwork as well as books, prints, cards, incense, sage and essential oils. There are regular healing, meditation, talks and workshop events running each week in the upper room. At the weekend the gallery is open for Tarot readings. Courtney also welcomes tour groups who wish to book private sessions in the Anam Na Teamhair meditation room. Tara is very much alive and often speaks to the seeker on their spiritual quest.
