Explore Lough Boora Discovery Park in County Offaly. Admire striking sculptures on the looped walks, hire a bike to check out the cycle route, try a spot of angling, and bring the kids on the magical fairy trail.

Experience the peaceful atmosphere and enjoy the natural beauty of Lough Boora Discovery Park.

Take the Lough Boora Sculpture Loop Walk, 3km in length, and marvel at the series of unique sculptures by Irish artists made from industrial materials such as timber and stone. Due to the effects of the weather, these magnificent sculptures change over time and become part of the landscape once again.

Check out the 6km Farmlands Loop Walk where you'll discover fascinating floral and fauna, or challenge yourself to the 9.3km Mesolithic Loop Walk through the Leabeg Wetland and Mesolithic site, spotting skylarks, hares and foxes.

Book in for a tour with a knowledgeable guide or navigate the 9km cycle path which takes in the sights and sounds of the park including the beautiful Boora canal. Lough Boora is perfect for a family day out, kids love meeting fairies on the magical Fairy Avenue and after, you can drop into the coffee shop for a homebaked treat.
