Lough Arrow is one of the great Irish trout fishing lough's, where the average trout weighs from 1.5lb to 6lb. It's a limestone lough incredibly rich in wildlife and scenery. The season starts from the 1st April to the 30th September each year.
Lough Melvin is a beautiful unspoilt lough famous for its variety of trout which include brown trout, char, ferox, gillaroo and sonaghan.
It also has a head of salmon that runs into the lake from the Drowes.
The season here starts from the 15th February to the 30th of September each year.
