At the Joan Clancy Art Gallery near An Rinn, County Waterford, discover a new view of art and a new view of Ireland at this extraordinary upstairs gallery by the coast. Located 10km from Dungarvan and the Waterford Greenway, Joan Clancy Art Gallery showcases some of the country’s leading painters along with memorabilia from The Clancy Brothers.

Established in 2001, Joan Clancy Art Gallery features the art of young, emerging and established artists. It is in the heart of the Waterford Gaeltacht or Irish speaking area, next to Coláiste na Rinne, a well known Irish language school.

Enjoy a personal tour from the vivacious owner, Joan Clancy, who is a fantastic storyteller and welcoming of people to the gallery adjacent to her residence. Joan has detailed insights and knowledge about the artists whose work is featured in the gallery. All of the art is available for purchase. Find a painting that you love and bring it home as a memento of Ireland.

An exclusive thrill for visitors is to see photographs and hear highlights about her late husband Tom Clancy and his television, movie and recording career. He was a member of the famous folk band The Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem.

Joan Clancy Art Gallery is open by appointment between advertised exhibitions. It has free parking at the door.
