Waterford Airport

Waterford Airport (operated by Waterford Regional Airport plc) is the only airport located in the South East of Ireland. The airport is 9km south-southeast of the City of Waterford, and 5km northeast of the Town of Tramore.

Serving a mix of passenger services and general aviation, particularly private business aircraft and leisure and training flights.

Disabled Passengers

The airport is wheelchair accessible, we can also provide complimentary wheelchair assistance on request for passengers departing and arriving at the airport. Passengers can request wheelchair assistance when booking your flights or when you arrive at the airport.

Catering

Avanti Coffee and Snack Bar is located in the terminal building offering a variety of beverages and snacks. The Skylounge Café/Bar is located in the Departure Lounge serving tea/coffee, juice or alcoholic beverages, freshly made sandwiches and snacks.

Smoking

The airport is a non-smoking building. A smoking area is provided at the front of the terminal building.

Car hire

Car Hire is provided at Waterford Airport by Budget and Hertz Car Hire.

Taxi

Taxis meet all scheduled flights, 15 minutes to Waterford City Centre, Dunmore East and Tramore. The taxi rank is located to the right as you depart the main terminal building. A courtesy telephone is provided in the terminal building or you can search for local taxi companies here.

Bus

The Bus Eireann bus station is located on the Quay in Waterford City, 15 minutes from Waterford Airport.

Rail

Trains - Waterford Train Station is located in Waterford City, 20 minutes from Waterford Airport.

WiFi Zones

Eircom WiFi internet access is available within the terminal building.

Internet Access

Complimentary internet access is available to all passengers in the departures lounge for both surfing the web and sending/receiving emails.
