Waterford Treasures: Medieval Museum, located in the Viking Triangle in Waterford City, is a striking building that reveals the story of Waterford through the Middle Ages. Visitors can venture beneath the museum into centuries old medieval vaults and view the magnificent Cloth of Gold vestments, reputed to be the only complete pre Reformation set to survive in Europe. They can also hear the tales of Waterford’s rivalry with New Ross, in County Wexford, vividly illustrated on the Great Charter Roll, which was once viewed by Queen Elizabeth II.
