Waterford's Digital Story Trail consists of 15 locations in the heart of Waterford City. At each stop there is a QR code and through scanning the code the story for this location is launched.
The story is delivered through an immersive experience comprising of an audio element, written facts and points of interest within the app and for some of the stops there is an augmented reality element which brings the characters of times past to life.
Some of the characters that come to life are Anastasia Fleming and Thomas Francis Meagher. The stories take you through the history and heritage of Waterford City, Ireland’s oldest city.
