Athlone really is the place to be this St Patrick's weekend with a massive line up of events to choose from starting March 13th this festival runs right up to St Patrick's Day culminating with the Parade which travels through the heart of the town starting at 12.30pm.

The River Shannon is taking centre stage with water activities on Saturday. Lots of other events to choose from, join in a Live Trad Music Session. A Soccer Tournament is happening on Friday at 6pm. Visit the Dean Crowe Theatre for some fantastic events. McFadden Fun Fair is coming to town and you can join in the Family 5km Run on Sunday morning.
