At Hatters’ Lane Bistro the ethos is simple, provide customers with high quality bistro style dining along with a welcoming smile and great service. Their focus is on casual fine dining and they have made a strong commitment to sourcing locally as much as possible, which is reflected in a menu that is now made up of about 75-80% Irish products.

The menu at Hatters’ Lane Bistro makes extensive use of locally produced, high quality Irish ingredients that are thoughtfully sourced including Hereford beef from Ireland, organic salads from Millhouse Farm in Roscommon, pork from Horan’s Pork Shop, mince from Dunning’s Master Butchers and fruit and vegetables from Behan’s, many of which are based here in Athlone.

Their menu gives a hat tip to the classic dishes that customers have been coming back for year in year out, while also bringing something new to the table to enrich their dining experience. Their menu is a celebration of the fantastic produce that Ireland has to offer.

First opening its doors in 1999, Hatters’ Lane Bistro feature an open fire, check table clothes and walls adorned with pictures of some of Hollywood's biggest movie star icons, the background music is easy listening typically featuring tunes from Sinatra, Martin, Bennett and the likes.
