RTÉ All Ireland Drama Festival 2026 under the auspices of the Amateur Drama Council of Ireland returns to the Dean Crowe Theatre, Athlone from the 30th April to the 8th May 2026, featuring nine top amateur drama groups from across Ireland.
The premier, high-standard competition, often featuring a festival fringe runs nightly with Gala Awards taking place on Saturday the 9th May streaming on RTÉ culture.
The event concludes a multi-week competitive Circuit involving 33 regional drama groups, wtih the top 9 finalists performing in Athlone. The festival represents the pinnacle of Irish amateur, theatre, with performances judged nightly, culminating in the prestigious All-Ireland drama awards.
Nightly tickets for the performances are available form the Dean Crowe Theatre starting from the 8th April 2026.
