The world of Traditional Irish Music was shocked and saddened on 28th March, 2025, when the sad news broke of the untimely passing of James Cullinan, master fiddler, incredible chef, and kind-hearted and humble gentleman.
His style was instantly recognizable and he always played with great flourish and verve. He had a complete mastery of the fiddle and an unbelievable repertoire, but at the heart of it all, he had a great humility and presence of mind about him.
He is sadly missed.
