The Raven on the north side of Wexford harbour in County Wexford is a nature reserve which is important for three main bird groups which are, Greenland Whitefronted Geese, large numbers of waders which roost here throughout the year, and several species of Tern which breed on the beach at the south end of the reserve. The Raven is also home to a number of rare plant species and lots of vegetation.
Adjacent to the North Slobs sanctuary and Curracloe in County Wexford lies a nature reserve known as The Raven. Here a protected sand dune system supports well developed dune vegetation, including a number of rare plant species.
