What's nearby
Greystones is a beautiful sandy beach located in the centre of the town and right beside the DART train service. The South Beach in Greystones is about half a mile long. This follows on from the shingly north beach at the harbour.

Greystones Beach is a mix of pebble and sand and easily accessible from the railway station and car park. The beach is lifeguarded during the bathing season and more information can be found on the notice board located at the beach.

Dogs are allowed on beach, but must be on a lead and under strict supervision of the owner. Owners must clean up after their dogs. There are two public toilets at the beach and there is also a children’s playground adjacent to the park.

There is a walk from Greystones to Bray Head.
