Lahinch Trad Festival celebrates the life of local fiddler Susan O' Sullivan (1892-1981) and was initiated by Susan's granddaughters in 2024. We are delighted to host local acclaimed fiddler Tara Breen in concert as well as respected uileann piper Eugene Lambe, and noted song writer P.J. Murrihy.
But our Festival also showcases the rich heritage of our County offering a 'Historical and musical tour of Lahinch', an Art Exhibition of Clare Musicians, a fiddle and harp making display, foraging on Lahinch beach, a Céilí, Sean-Nós dancing, Basket weaving, Busking for young musicians, Story-telling with the bard Aidreas de Staic, Pop-Up Gaeltacht, and a Singing session! It's a family festival not to be missed!
