Mountshannon Community Market takes place on the first Saturday of every month, between 11am and 3pm, in the village of Mountshannon, County Clare.
While the stall holders vary at each market, local produce including bread, sauerkraut, vegetables, eggs, cakes, honey, as well as hot vegetarian food is always available.
All stall holders are small local businesses and sell mainly home produced food, crafts and herbal remedies. A varied mix of other things can be found, such as vintage clothes, books, candles, soaps and more.
Complimentary tea is served, which can be enjoyed in the chill out area, where there are games and books for children and adults.
Mountshannon Community Market is mainly indoors and Mountshannon is one of Ireland's most beautiful villages, well worth a visit.
