The Burren Art Gallery is an art, craft, design and performance venue on the edge of the Burren near Tubber, in County Clare. The gallery is accessible by road from Shannon Airport and is near the picturesque village of Kinvara on the Wild Atlantic Way.
The former church has been transformed into a flexible creative space, featuring modern exhibition lighting, networking and audio capabilities. The exterior of the building is sensitively restored using natural materials, in keeping with local tradition and surroundings. Providing opportunities for emerging artists and original contemporary work is central to the gallery’s ethos. Studio space is available as are materials and equipment.
The Burren Art Gallery, is surrounded by scenic views and a short walk away from Lough Bunny which is a location of great interest in terms of geology, flora and fauna. Wild swans can often be observed as well as other species of ornithological interest.
