The Farmyard is a pre-booked activity farm for groups. It promotes a healthy and active way of living though fun farm activities and educational workshops where the primary focus is learning a new skill through our agricultural interactive activities. Nestled at the foot of Mullaghmor Mountain in the heart of the stunning Burren region, The Farmyard is the ideal location to enjoy spending time with your pupils, friends or colleagues.

Darragh, together with his wife Aisling established The Farmyard, a farm based enterprise which promotes a healthy way of life for adults and children alike. The Farmyard is an educational haven offering people the opportunity to re-connect with nature. Activities include Milking a cow, Churning butter, Farm or Burren Walks, shearing a sheep, Brown Bread making, Irish dancing, or Team challenges such as Gathering the sheep, wellie throwing, Archery and much more. Set on a working farm in the heart of the Burren in Corofin, Co. Clare, the farmyard is an ideal stop off if passing through either Limerick, Galway or Clare just off the Wild Atlantic way.

The Farmyard is equipped with modern state of the art indoor and outdoor facilities. These include our state of the art Tea-rooms where lunch options are available once pre-booked.
