The Tea & Garden Rooms is located in County Clare, overlooking glorious Galway Bay. It provides an oasis of peace and tranquillity and is a fully serviced restaurant facility with ample seating for 30 guests. This delightful stone restaurant dates back to 1790, when it was built as a residence for Coast Security officers. Nearly two centuries later it was bought in a derelict condition by the O'Donoghue family, who then rebuilt it and opened it as a tea room and gardens.
The Burren has attracted a great many artisan food producers and at The Tea & Garden Rooms. They work with them to provide only the finest ingredients to create their mouth watering foods. The Tea & Garden Rooms are also renowned for their tempting range of home baked fare. They serve only the freshest foods with eggs laid by their own free range hens, herbs and vegetables lovingly cultivated in their own gardens.
