Clonakilty Old Time Fair is a day for everyone, bringing displays of vintage and traditional vehicles, crafts, creativity, stalls to browse, fun stations to be enjoyed by children and adults alike. The happy, festival atmosphere starts early and continues throughout the day with music, dancing, demos of traditional craft making such as butter making, basket weaving, coppersmith, wood sculptures and more.

Everyone visiting the Fair is invited to dress in vintage style with prizes to be won. Many of the bands competing in the South of Ireland Band Championships have a tradition of participating in the Old Time Fair too, and the Festival Parade brings the day to a close, travelling from Strand Road right through the town to Emmet Square.
