Jeanie, Annie, Madge and Deirdre are teenagers growing up in San Fernando Valley who have one last delicious, fragile and bittersweet summer together before adulthood. With the Hollywood Hills so full of promises and dreams, it is a time of excitement, anticipation and love for these girls. Director Adrian Lyne made his feature-length debut with this sensitive coming-of-age story. Produced by David Puttman (CHARIOTS OF FIRE, LOCAL HERO), FOXES features uniformly fantastic performances from its cast, a buzzing soundtrack by Giorgio Moroder and a screenplay which has the right balance of drama, comedy and tragedy.
Adrian Lyne’s first short film THE TABLE (1973, 10 minutes) will be screened before FOXES.
