On Sunday 4 August, Youghal Medieval Festival will once again bring Heritage to Life! Set in St. Mary's (Walled) College Gardens, immerse yourself in the Medieval Village, kids archaeological workshops, re-enactments, balloon art and so much more!
Spectacular and immersive, educational, fun and festive – the Youghal Medieval Festival invites you to step back in time at the majestic St Mary’s College Gardens and St Mary’s Collegiate Church, on Sunday 4 August from 12:00 till 18:00.
From highly-charged battle re-enactments to incredible costumes and the chance to experience primitive medieval village living – the Festival is a colourful and fascinating celebration of the Medieval heritage of Youghal town. There’s something for everyone, including a demonstration of live falconry with beautiful birds of prey, Medieval workshops and plenty to keep the younger members of your family entertained all day. Plus, all events are FREE!
