Health and Herbs is the only shop and clinic in Ireland that is run by a GP and Medical Herbalist. Offering a range of speciality foods and cater for specific dietary requirements. Stocking the most sought after supplements and products including juicers and food dehydrators and a wide range of seaweeds. Dr Clare opens up her garden annually to the public. She has also sponsored the local Herb Garden on Sea Road which is free of charge and open to the public.
The shop and clinic offers a very relaxing environment providing free herbal tea and books to browse for people to come in and enjoy throughout the day.
Health and Herbs are very close to the city centre (5 minutes walk from the Spanish Arch) and only 20 minutes walk to Salthill.
Health and Herbs is located on a thriving and upcoming area that provides organic and award winning food. We are across the road from Galway's premier traditional Irish music venue, The Crane Bar.
At Health and Herbs we blend all our own tinctures and teas which can be seen made up in the dispensary. Dr Clare is the only GP and Medical Herbalist in Ireland and England and can be heard regularly on the Sean O'Rourke Show on Radio 1 and also on Q102. She also a regular speaker at national events such as Bloom.
