Lakeview (Radharc na Locha) Coffee Shop is located in Camus, and specialises in warm smoked salmon, among other dishes.

Relax while sipping a coffee or enjoy a delicious meal at Lakeview (Radharc na Locha) Coffee Shop, and gaze at one of Connemara's most tranquil and historic lakes (Furnace Lake) with the wild and rugged Connemara landscape as its backdrop.

The speciality at Lakeview Coffee Shop is warm smoked salmon - a delicious dish which has to be tasted to be believed!

Both owners, Cait and Patrick O'Flaherty, are native Irish speakers and are more than willing to impart their knowledge of the language and their local knowledge to anyone who is interested.

Furnace Lake derives its name from what used to be a nearby furnace/smelter which had its heyday in the 16th century. It was owned by the famous Grace O'Malley or Granuaile (Gráinne Mhaol), also known as the Pirate Queen, and her then husband, Ristéard de Burgo, (or Iron Dick, as he was commonly known at the time).
