ROUGE Restaurant

ROUGE, a French restaurant located in the heart of Galway City where one can enjoy a real French experience at reasonable price. An exclusive wine list and authentic French cuisine where staff will make your night unforgettable.

ROUGE is the colour of heart, the colour of love, the colour of life.

Push the door and you will be straight away transported to France. Cross the long wine cellar and you will realise how the way to source the wines is different there: directly from France and from small wine makers. You can feel there is a person behind every bottle, a person who put passion and pride at every stage of this long and beautiful process to make the wine. In Rouge, all the wines imported are exclusive to Ireland.

Then take a seat in a typical French decor, surrounded by authentic furniture from Paris. The pianist, playing on a grand piano -another unique experience - will make you forgetting that you are in Ireland. The staff - hopefully forgiven for their strong French accent - will introduce the menus and the chef's choice for the night and will ensure everything is fresh and cooked in an authentic way.

When your food arrives, you'll feel the authenticity: it's like if you were invited in a French grandmother's house! The limited choice on the menu (different beef options, fish of the day, vegetarian option or lobster from the fish tank) will guarantee you value and freshness: there is no microwave or freezer in Rouge kitchen! Your wine will match perfectly your dish, thanks to the sommelier's advice.

The finishing touch will be the dessert selection, all homemade by a French pastry chef.

After this unforgettable experience, you'll probably be back for another special occasion....but if you prefer to have Rouge "outside Rouge", the catering service offered will provide you the same wonderful French touch at home or for your business events.
