The Secret Garden is Galway City's best kept secret. It is a Tea Shop, café and shisha bar, and has become Galway’s favourite social meeting place.

The Secret Garden features a creative and relaxing atmosphere. The café's layout is very open and includes a cosy lounge area where one can sit with cushions and truly relax. Handmade furniture and artwork from local artists decorate the space and make any seat in the café feel unique. The shop offers more than 100 types of tea from around the world and choosing from this diverse selection is made fun and easy by the friendly staff. Callers will be spoiled for choice with plenty of varieties of herbal, spicy, fruity, citrus, green, white, black, Rooibos, Mate, Moroccan and blooming tea.

For the coffee drinker at heart, the café offers best in quality cappuccino, latte and hot chocolate in generous sizes. There are also scrumptious homemade cakes and pastries with gluten free and diabetic options also available. The café is child friendly, the carpeted cushioned area is great for young children allowing the parents to relax and enjoy a good chat. For those wanting to try something different, the café offers traditional shisha (hookah) smoking with a large selection of flavours to smoke from, all tobacco and nicotine free.

During the day, the café features community meetings, workshops, book and album launches, club activities and art exhibitions. At night, the café transforms into a truly alternative place with acoustic live music and DJ’s playing ambient, funky, chill out sets, and more.
