Spillane’s Bar & Restaurant in Castlegregory, County Kerry, is a long established family run and family friendly, bar and restaurant on the scenic Maharees Peninsula.

Spillane’s Bar & Restaurant first opened in 1875. Their extensive menu offers a wide range of dishes with the emphasis on local seafood, seasonal vegetables, typical Irish traditional fare, as well as daily specials, pizzas, homemade burgers and desserts. There is a good wine list available to accompany any of the above dishes.

A previous winner of the Best Gastro Pub in Kerry at the Irish Restaurant Awards, they have also been awarded the prestigious Seafood Circle Award for several years as well as a listing in the Georgina Campbell Guide to the best of Ireland.

The dining room overlooks Brandon Bay and Mount Brandon and the sunset is spectacular on a summer’s evening. There are sea and mountain views and outdoor tables for dining when weather permits. During the busy summer season it is advisable to book your table in advance, although Spillane’s will try to fit you in if at all possible.

Spillane's Bar & Restaurant are happy to cater for parties and occasions and can tailor menus to suit a range of budgets. A local traditional Irish music band plays regularly during the summer months.
