Krēm Gelateria and Café in Westport, County Mayo, was founded in 2019. The skill and tradition of ice cream making was passed down through the generations. Krēm gelato is lovingly prepared with great passion and knowledge. A strong focus is on using and sourcing local ingredients while creating fun and tasty gelato flavours for everyone to enjoy.
After learning the basics in the family business, Graham Byrne started travelling the world. He learned about the flavour experience of other cultures, worked with other passionate and accomplished chefs and honed his skills.
It was during his travels he received 14 awards for his delicious gelato and sorbet creations. After returning home and settling in Westport, it was then time to put all those skills and experiences to good use. Krēm Gelateria and Café was born.
