Busy Bee Ceramics, Glaslough, County Monaghan, is a working studio where pottery is made. Pottery workshops are held here also for every age group, children and adults. Pre booking is essential.

Busy Bee Ceramics caters for all age groups and is set in the lovely, old, picturesque, 19th century mill village of Glaslough, located 12km north of Monaghan Town. Busy Bee Ceramics produces a bread and butter range of pottery, which includes dishwasher proof tableware like mugs, jugs and teapots. These can be purchased direct from the studio.

At Busy Bee Ceramics you can learn how to throw a pot with Brenda's expert guidance and also how to decorate your very own set of pottery. You can choose from a range of mugs, plates, bowls, dinosaurs and fairies. All your works of art are then fired in the kiln and returned to you within two weeks. Delivery to anywhere in the world can also be arranged. Every participant receives a master potter certificate. This is an ideal recreational activity for families, friends, children's birthday parties, hen parties, corporate business and social gatherings of all descriptions. Toilet facilities are available.

Tea and coffee, cupcakes and children's party food are available but only if pre booked. The Emy Walkway is 2 miles from Mullan Village and there is a 3 mile walkway around it. Picnic area is located there and hungry ducks! Ideal for fishing also.

Castle Leslie is located within 3 miles of Mullan Village in Glaslough, which also has an insect hotel in the public playground. Bragan Bog is located approximately 5 miles from Mullan. It is a wild, raised, peat bog, part of Monaghan's Slieve Beagh Mountains, full of fresh air, heather, gorse and home to the hen harrier.
