Located in Fethard, County Tipperary, Dooks Fine Foods offers a fresh, seasonal menu of Irish cuisine using locally sourced produce. The bright, airy restaurant lends itself to a relaxed dining experience. The daytime menu offers breakfast, light lunch as well as meat and fish dishes, cakes and signature teas and coffees, all made in house. They also offer a five course tasting menu on Saturday evenings.
The restaurant is named after the townland of Dooks, County Kerry, a coastal place where patron chef, Richard Gleeson, has holidayed all of his life.
The restaurant operates first come first serve during the daytime hours unless there is a large group booking. On Sundays, as there is all day brunch, advance bookings cannot be made. The tasting menu and midweek cookery demonstrations are reservation only.
Dooks Fine Foods’ retail offerings cater to all foodie gift needs and also offer a specially selected wine list.
