The Thatched Cottage is a restored structure that has been preserved, with exterior stonework that has been restored to its original state.
Divided into four main areas, the tastefully styled dining room has a modern feel, complete with artistic lighting and views of the old stonework and marble fireplace. Have a drink in the cosy bar with open fire, gather your group in Nell's Cottage – the traditional, quaint, cosy room just perfect for that intimate gathering – or go big in the classically built banquet room to celebrate your wedding, party, conference, or gathering in style.
At the Thatched Cottage, you can enjoy live music weekly, with traditional sessions on during the year. All musicians are welcome, and there is parking onsite and wheelchair accessibility. Families with children are welcome, too. Food is served seven days a week.
