Mark the beginning of National Heritage Week by visiting Dún na Sí Amenity and Heritage Park. Take part in a St. Brigid’s Cross weaving demonstration, where visitors of all ages can try their hand at this cherished Irish tradition.

This interactive activity delivered by Irish Heritage Crafts Co.op offers the chance to learn the meaning behind the iconic cross and to weave your own to take home — a beautiful symbol of protection and heritage.

There will be three approx. 40min long demonstrations at 11am, 12pm and 1pm.

The event is kindly supported by the Department of Culture, Communications and Sport and the National Monuments Service who helps preserving those ancient skillsets.

Tickets include entry to heritage park and weaving demonstration.
