The Rock Shop in County Clare, has a fascinating display of rocks, fossils, jewellery and unique gifts. It also has a tea room serving coffee and homebaked cakes. The Rock Shop is located just 2km south of the spectacular Cliffs of Moher.

At The Rock Shop in County Clare, there is an exciting range of gemstones and gifts sourced from Ireland and all over the world.

Choose from jewellery and jewels, to suit all tastes and budgets and there is a variety of rock, fossil and mineral specimens for collectors, young or old. See mesmerising displays of precious and semi precious stones, onyx, Connemara marble and crystals.

The Rock Shop's spacious, bright and airy tea room is the perfect place to relax with beautiful views over Liscannor Bay. Enjoy a selection of tasty homemade scones, soups and delicious cakes with a cup of freshly brewed coffee. Gluten and dairy free cakes are also available on request. There is also free WiFi available on site.

Sit back and enjoy a wonderful video presentation outlining the history of quarrying in the surrounding area. This details the properties of the various flagstones extracted from quarries in the Liscannor Moher Region.

Safety Notice: This walk is only open for 1km in each direction north and south of the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Centre. The Northern section from Doolin is only open to Surfers Path – this will require walkers to turn back and remain on the walk back to Doolin. There is no access to Cliffs of Moher Visitor Centre on this section of the walk. The Southern section from Liscannor is fully closed for 5kms.
