Tweed in County Donegal is an independent boutique featuring a highly edited select list of Irish designers that include tweed apparel, luxury knitwear, ceramics, jewellery, hand rolled candles and prints. Each luxury candle sold is unique, vegan and handmade in Ireland from vegetable wax using sustainable resources. Tweed’s mission is to promote some of the best of locally and regionally handmade Irish goods.
The owner, Ronan Hanna, grew up steeped in the local tweed tradition and the shop features Ronan’s own label 'Hata Donegal'. They produce tweed headwear and apparel from custom woven tweeds unique to 'Hata Donegal'. Their tweeds are woven from locally spun yarns of merino and mohair.
Donegal Tweed clothing is handcrafted from custom woven luxury tweeds and handloomed knitwear using Donegal Tweed yarn.
