Salmon smokehouse beside the bridge in Killorglin.
Suppliers of smoked wild salmon from the river Laune. The river flows beside the premises and the salmon is caught by draft net. This is an ancient traditional method of catching the salmon. The salmon is smoked in the Fishery smokehouse. Visitors can see the smoking in progress, and can buy the smoked product in the shop. They also smoke organic salmon which is raised in the Atlantic. Mail order throughout Europe is available.
There is also an outlet store for a local Woollen Mills with a large easy access parking area for coaches and cars. The premises is beside the bridge which is on the famous Ring of Kerry.
