Rainy days
A visit to The Bridge Pottery just 10km from Kilkenny City in Burnchurch, is the discovery of a hidden gem. The shop and gallery are full of beautiful hand painted ceramics made by potters Mark Campden and Caroline Dolan.

Inspired by the natural world of the garden and countryside that surround their studio near Cuffesgrange in County Kilkenny, each piece is carefully painted in beautiful colours and motifs.

A very special find is the lustreware that Mark makes. This ancient technique is very precious and rarely practiced in the world today.

Mark & Caroline warmly welcome visitors and happily chat about their work.
