Horan's Bar & Restaurant is a place where one is sure to meet locals and visitors alike for a chat. Originally known as the Commercial House, the bar dates back to 1881, when it provided accommodation, food and drinks to travelling salesmen visiting the area and also stabled their horses overnight in the rear yard.
The philosophy at Horan's Bar & Restaurant is to provide a warm welcome along with delicious, home cooked food, premium beers and wines. Food is traditional yet wholesome, with wonderful breads and confectioneries baked in house daily. A daily lunch menu is available with also an a la carte menu offering a choice of fresh fish, prime Irish beef steaks, Irish chicken and a choice of vegetarian and gluten free dishes.
Horan's Bar & Restaurant hosts traditional music sessions on Fridays nights and provides live music at weekends. A private function room can accommodate up to 200 people with a heated beer garden outside making it very suitable for all special occasions.
