Stop by the Cahir Tourist Information Centre and discover local tips and information to help you make the most of your time in the heritage town of Cahir and surroundings. Developed around the magnificent 13th century Cahir Castle the town has many interesting sites including St. Paul’s Church of Ireland and the remains of the Augustinian Priory, Cahir Abbey. The Swiss Cottage, 2km from the town is a delightful 19th century cottage ornée, designed by regency architect John Nash.
